Generative Art with TurtleArt

I made a series of drawings with the LogoTurtle a while back and I am revisiting the same idea of "exploded shapes" using Turtle Art. With this simple idea:

you get infinite square-like designs!

I was thinking I would like some color variety:

Too much variety!

Ooohhh nice!

But when I run it many of them go off the screen. I figured out how to get the whole image even when it goes out of the screen:

1. Save.
2. Drag the file into the TurtleArt Converter, in Image Mode.
3. Place the file into an Illustrator document.
4. Use the Direct Select tool to select the outer border of the image. 
   
   
   
5. Delete it TWICE, yes twice.
   
   
   

And you will get the whole image!
